What is Multimedia?

Multimedia is the area of passive and active communication through mediums like TV, Internet/Computers, Phones, and many more platforms. Entertainment seems to be a large part of Multimedia since the entertainment business includes all of these thing. Each part of multimedia can either involve two or more parties communicating together (ex. phone), or one or more parties receiving information without communicating back to where the information is coming from (ex. TV).
